Movie Review: The Amazing Spider Man 2

NOW YOU’RE TALKING!!
Wow! I finally forgive them for making that boring first part, because you know what! It’s WORTH IT!! The Amazing Spider Man 2 is just freaking awesome! I was literary frozen in my seat! Seriously! Didn’t move! It was so intense and just AMAZING!!!

In this part Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) graduate from high school and becomes the people’s protector in New York. The Villains in this part is Electro (Jamie Foxx) and the Green Goblin (Dane DeHaan). I don’t want to get into the story too much, because it’s your typical superhero story so I’ll focus on other things in this review.

First of all the cast is just freaking BRILLIANT! I mentioned in the previous review how much I love Emma Stone and she is one of the best actresses of this time! She flips from one role to the next and brings something new to each character. Andrew as well, I love! I think he makes a better Spider Man for me. I just like the sarcastic fun side of him. For me, an actor that can deliver the character’s emotion in such ease is a great actor. And OMG! Dane DeHaan, where did he come from?? My sister thought that the old Harry in the old trilogy is better, but for me I prefer Dane. The way he moves and just the way he looks makes a better Harry Osborn.  Also, choosing Jaime Foxx to play in this movie made me go YAY! The moment I saw a still from the movie with him in it, I was dancing!

To talk about other things, the story! I was told many times from some of you readers that this version is more true to the comics. I never read the comics, so I can’t be a judge of that, but I can sense that the movie was more comic style than for example Man of Steel or the Dark Night. I did prefer with Batman the tilt to reality more than comics, but I think for Spider Man, this time it works! The story has a lot of better details and the story like I said before is more refined and structures. I mean it makes more sense.  The script is smart, sharp and funny. It’s entertaining and emotional!

I’m still crazy about the sound track! I love all the songs in the movie. It was fun and light and serious and intense when needed. The special effects is great. I always said this is the time for sci-fi movies. I can never say that enough, because I’m super sci-fi fantasy fan nerd so I’m always cheering for it hahaha.

I highly RECOMMEND this film! It’s just awesome! It’s been a while since I felt alive after watching a movie.  Can’t wait for the third movie, coming out in 2016!

Movie Review: The Amazing Spider-Man

So the sequel is coming out tomorrow, Thursday 1st of May! And to watch it, I have to actually watch the first one :p. To be honest I wasn’t that excited to do so, because the fact is, it’s a remake of a movie that was made only 10 years prior to this movie. The story is so fresh in our head! The last Spiderman movie was in 2007! Instead of watching a new story, we go back again to Peter Parker in High School! Again!

I think it’s all because Tobey Maguire, he doesn’t want to do another movie, so they need to find someone new, Andrew Garfield and reintroduce him to us.  As a superhero superfan I obviously watched all the previous movies, so I can easily compare. I liked Andrew more than Tobey, even though some will argue, but for some reason Tobey is emotionless, something cold in him. So maybe it’s a personal taste thing.

The story is the same, Peter get bitten (Again) he makes a custom (Again) he fights scientists turned bad (Again). As you can tell I was bored watching this movie. The story is a bit more refined, but there’s nothing new! The soundtrack is nice though; I liked the tunes. The new special effects are so much better for sure, even though it’s only been 10 years, the special effects have evolved completely.

Emma Stone was good too. I just love her, she’s amazing. I think she needs to do more movies. I don't see her that much these days. She's brilliant!

That’s about it! I hope 2 is going to be good!  They better do something new, because there is no excuse! It’s the same director, which is positive, I liked Marc Webb take on the story and part 3 is announced for 2014, so better be big on the box office or some people are gonna be yelled at! HAHA!

Till Saturday!

Movie Review: The Croods

Ok! So after restarting my seat TV thingie three times in the plane, I managed to search for a good movie that I have missed in theaters or a fun classic. I found ‘The Croods’. I heard so many good things about this film and thought why not! And it was the best choice ever!!!!
So, what is it about? It’s a story of a family of cave family who lives in fear and tries to survive until the daughter, Eep (Emma Stone) meets a new stranger, Guy (Ryan Reynolds) and take the family into a whole new adventure, because as Guy says, the world was about to end and they need to follow the light.
This is for sure is on top of my favorite animations list!! Just by watching the trailer you’d know what I mean! But don’t! It’s more fun that way. The story is so creative and the scenery and setting is so beautiful.
It’s so humorous too!! I love how the creators gathered all the cavemen stereotypes and created fun and great characters. It was made in a really good and positive way!!
It’s also so so magical. It fills you with hope and dreams!! I love it! And there’s action too!! The hunting scenes are so exciting. The scene I loved the most was when Eeb tried her first shoes, hahahahahahahahahaha you have to see it to know what I’m talking about!!
I love Emma Stone and so happy she was in this movie!! She was really good as Eep and also I didn’t mind Eep’s father, Grug (Nicolas Cage). This is probably the only film I can love with Nicolas Cage in it! No offense to him, but I hate his acting!! Glade he wasn’t bad in this film or else I’d be super mad!
So, just follow the light and stop being afraid, that’s the message of this film and it was delivered in the most fun way ever!!!
You must watch this!! and OMG!! I just saw there's The Croods 2 in 2017!! *happy dance*
Till I review again!

Movie Review: Crazy, Stupid, Love

This movie is the type of movies that you're glad you saw, but you don't feel like seeing it again! Do you understand dear reader? I mean it has really good elements, talented cast, and creative funny story, but it was good, not great!
Don't get me wrong, reader, I don't regret seeing it, which can tell you it's good, but there was something off in the film. I guess I thought it will make me cry from laughter. Although there was this guy in the theater who couldn't stop laughing :p so I guess the movie effect some. For me the movie was more of a Romance than Comedy.
I like Steve Carell, wait no, I love him! I mean he is super funny! But he didn't pull out his comedian magic in this movie which was disappointing. Weirdly though, I liked Julian Moore in this film. I rarely see her in a nice role, she was really good.  The cutest scene in the film was when *spoil alert* Ryan Gosling (the guy in the Notebook) fell in love with Emma Stone. It was so fun and cute. In this movie I liked the fact that it touched me, I got to feel what they felt. It was nice. And Ryan in a scene he was eating this pizza that looked so ymmy hehehe (I was hungry and now I made myself hungry ><)
The climax of the movie was the funniest scene in the entire film. It was hilarious hehehehe. I won't tell you what happened :p.
Like I said it had more romance than Comedy and I loved how the Romance was real and solid. It managed to carry the movie and made me not regret seeing it.
You know it's really hard to judge a comedy movie after seeing the Hangover :p 1&2 hehehehehe.
So, if you want something fun and sweet this movie is for you, but if you got bored easily, read my other reviews for other suggestions ;p
